Zhuzhou Smelter Group Co.,Ltd announced earnings results for the year 2011. For the period, the company reported net loss attributable to share holders of the company of RMB 589,294,230.32 or RMB 1.12 per basic and diluted share against net profit attributable to shareholders of the company of RMB 17,509,223.50 or RMB 0.03 per basic and diluted share a year ago. Basic loss per share after extraordinary items was RMB 1.24 compared to RMB 0.05 a year ago. Negative weighted average return on net assets was RMB 32.83. Net asset per share attributable to shareholders of the listed company was RMB 2.71 compared to RMB 4.09 a year ago.

The Company's main products portfolio consists of zinc products, including zinc alloy ingots, zinc powders, zinc ingots, and others; lead products, including lead ingots and lead alloy ingots; precious metal products, including sponge palladium, sponge platinum, silver ingots, gold ingots, cobalt oxide and others, as well as sulfuric acid, mercurous chloride, crude copper, silver nitrate and others.
