Zoetis Inc. said its profit and revenue rose for the third quarter, driven by its petcare parasiticides and dermatology products.
The animal-health company on Thursday posted net income attributable to the company of $552 million, compared with $479 million in the year-ago period. Earnings were $1.16 a share, compared with $1 a share in the prior year.
Adjusted earnings were $1.25 a share. Analysts polled by FactSet were expecting $1.11 a share.
Revenue rose 11% to $1.99 billion. Analysts were looking for $1.93 billion.
