Know Before You Go: Get Ready for Zoomtopia 2021!

It's almost time for Zoomtopia 2021! Our fifth annual user conference and customer celebration on Sept. 13 and 14 is a 100% virtual experience that we're proud to host completely on our Zoom Events platform.

This year's theme is The Imaginarium, a special world of discovery that highlights all the ways our customers are using Zoom to embrace change and innovation. We can't wait to welcome you to The Imaginarium to explore, get inspired, and celebrate - especially as we mark Zoom's 10-year anniversary!

Here's a rundown of everything you need to know before you join us at Zoomtopia 2021:

How do I get there?

Since Zoomtopia is 100% virtual, you won't need to worry about travel or parking. Just sit back, relax, and click to join the Zoomtopia lobby on Zoom Events.

There are a few different ways to get to the lobby:

• Check your email: Find your Zoomtopia virtual ticket (hint: search for 'Zoomtopia 2021 confirmation' in your inbox. Click 'View Ticket,' then 'Join Lobby.'
• View your calendar invite: If you added the event to your calendar, check your calendar invite and click the link following 'Join this Zoom Event.'
• Visit the Zoomtopia event page: Go to the Zoomtopia event page and click the button that says 'Join Lobby.' Note that if you haven't registered, or aren't signed in to the account associated with the email address you registered with, the button will say 'Register' instead of 'Join Lobby.'

Once you're in the lobby, click on 'Itinerary' to view your saved sessions and join them at the right time.

Go to the 'Sessions' tab to explore all the upcoming sessions and add new ones to your itinerary. You can also join sessions in progress directly from this tab.

What sessions should I join?

The answer depends on what you're interested in! We've got more than 75 sessions for all types of users, organized into content tracks so you can find the topics that best fit your interests. Use the filter to customize your search results and find sessions that cover specific products of focus, knowledge level, language, and track.

You won't want to miss our Zoomtopia Vision & Product Keynotes, starting at 8:30 a.m. PDT on Monday, Sept. 13. Zoom founder and CEO, Eric S. Yuan, will kick off the event with our company's vision for the future of communications, followed by Chief Product Officer Oded Gal, who will introduce some amazing new and upcoming enhancements to our platform.

Industry keynotes for education, healthcare, government, financial services, and our developer platform will offer even more focused insights, and regional keynotes will provide relevant information for our EMEA and APAC audiences.

What else do I have to look forward to?

In addition to insightful product and industry sessions, we're excited to have thought leaders and talented entertainers grace our virtual stage, including:

What do I need for Zoomtopia?

You don't need much for our virtual event, but here's a checklist of all the essentials so you can start preparing for the big day.

Must-haves

• The latest Zoom client - visit zoom.us/download to update your client.
• Access to the Zoom account you used to register for Zoomtopia.
• Your custom itinerary - visit the Zoomtopia lobby and click 'Sessions' to add sessions to your agenda.
• Your favorite drinks and snacks, so you can stay hydrated and energized during our two-day event!

Nice-to-haves

• Custom virtual background - even though you won't be on camera for our Zoomtopia sessions, you can still enjoy designing your own virtual background at the World of Creation in our interactive Imaginarium.
• Zoomtopia 2021 swag - if you signed up for our giveaway, keep an eye out for a special package in the mail! You can also browse swag in our online store.
• Fun Zoomtopia filters, available now in the latest Zoom client!
