To get started with HIPAA-related use cases on Zoom for Government, organizations that classify as a Covered Entity under the HIPAA rules can accept a business associate agreement (BAA) on their Zoom for Government account. With the required BAA in place, you can use the platform to support healthcare services - such as telehealth visits with patients or discussing care coordination with other providers over Zoom.
Existing compliance and commitmentsIn addition to HIPAA, Zoom for Government platform's controls support additional commitments, including:
- FedRAMP Moderate
- DOD IL/2
- FIPS 140-2 cryptography
- 300+ NIST controls
