Accelerating growth in the 3rd quarter

In line with expectations, CIS' growth continued to build momentum. Sales in the third quarter grew 29.5%, accelerating in relation to Q2, to reach €69.9 million. This increase includes the impact of companies acquired in Brazil, Alternativa and Beta, of approximately €5 million in sales and a negative currency effect of €2.1 million. Like-for-like (at constant structure and exchange rates) revenue grew 16.2%.

This solid performance was made possible by several commercial successes in recent months, notably in Eurasia which now accounts for nearly 30% of the total revenue for the period (including a one-off contract of €3.1 million awarded in Kazakhstan). In Sub-Saharan Africa, the Group also registered solid gains, with revenue up from €12.9 million in 2018 to €18.3 million in the third quarter of 2019, driven by expansion into four new countries in the region since the beginning of 2019: Malawi, Senegal, Cameroun and Gabon.

Total Group sales for the first nine months rose significantly to €194.2 million or 14.7% (+8.6% like-for- like).

Based on the level of revenue recorded, CIS remains confident in the outlook for achieving sustained growth for the 2019 full year.
