AstiVita Limited (‘AIR’) presently owns two distinct businesses servicing two very different markets segments: Bathroom & Kitchens comprising the importation and sale of bathroom and kitchen products which are sold predominantly to Tamawood Limited, trading as Dixon Homes; and Skincare & Cosmetics comprising the formulation, manufacture, and distribution (online and through resellers) of a comprehensive range of skincare, sun care and cosmetic products. As part of the proposed capital raising, the AIR Board intends to restructure AIR by splitting the two business units into two separate corporate entities being: AstiVita Bathrooms & Kitchens which will own the Bathroom & Kitchens business; and SKNCO which will own the Skincare & Cosmetics operations. The AIR Board believes this restructure will give shareholders improved visibility into the performance of each business unit and position AIR to sell the AstiVita Bathrooms & Kitchens operations as and when the opportunity arises. The AIR Board is currently obtaining tax and legal advice regarding the splitting of the two business operations into two corporate entities and will keep shareholders updated on progress.
