Betagro Public Company Limited (SET:BTG) agreed to acquire approximately 51% stake in Ajinomoto Betagro Specality Foods Co., Ltd. from AJINOMOTO FROZEN FOODS Co., Inc. and Ajinomoto Frozen Foods (Thailand) Co. Ltd for THB 80.1 million on February 27, 2024. Betagro Public Company Limited (SET:BTG) entered into share purchase agreement to acquire approximately 51% stake in Ajinomoto Betagro Specality Foods Co., Ltd. from AJINOMOTO FROZEN FOODS Co., Inc. and Ajinomoto Frozen Foods (Thailand) Co.

Ltd on March 18, 2024. The remaining 4 shares of Ajinomoto Betagro will be held by the directors Vasit Taepaisitphongse, Thanomvong Taepaisitphongse, Oliver Johannes Gottschall and Trirat Thongplod. The transaction will be funded from cash flow from business operations.

As of February 27, 2024, the transaction is approved by the board of directors of Betagro.
