Subject: Revised Disclosure under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India

(Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 [SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015]

Ref:Our earlier Corporate Announcement dated April 01, 2024 intimating for Order u/s 143(3) r.w.s. 254 of the Income-tax Act, 1961

This is in reference to your email dated April 2, 2024 seeking additional details required under SEBI Circular No. SEBI/HO/CFD/CFD-PoD-1/P/CIR/2023/123 dated July 13, 2023 and also, clarification regarding the delayed submission of the aforementioned corporate announcement made yesterday.

As pointed by you, we regret the inconvenience caused in this matter as we had filed under the wrong heading-Regulation 30 read with sub-para (19) of Para A of Part A of Schedule III of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015 instead of Para C - General Updates of Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015

We now give you the revised disclosure as per Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015 below:

We wish to inform you that Bosch Limited has received Assessment Order under Section 143(3) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 for assessment year 2013-14 with refund of INR 116.38 crores (including interest). The Company is in the process of evaluating the implications of the order on the financial statements for the quarter and year ending March 31, 2024.

The intimation letter for Order u/s 143(3) r.w.s. 254 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 was received on March 29, 2024, late evening, which also coincided with a public holiday, followed by a weekend. It was brought to the attention of the undersigned by a company official from Tax department who received the intimation upon resuming office on April 01, 2024. The intervening holiday impeded our ability to process and submit the disclosure within the prescribed timeframe.

Please note that the delay was primarily due to circumstances beyond our control. We assure you that we are committed to prioritizing compliances with the applicable provisions of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015. Your understanding and consideration in this matter are greatly appreciated.
