On Friday, Broadpeak, a developer of software dedicated to video streaming, gave a "very positive" assessment of its SaaS (software as a service) offering, just over a year after its launch.

The company points out that its solution has made significant strides in recent months, with the integration of new applications and the signing of initial references validating its suitability for market needs.

Available since January 18, 2022, the broadpeak.io platform, accessible in cloud mode on a monthly subscription basis, provides access to a catalog of turnkey applications.

These include modules for content replacement, virtual channel creation and dynamic ad insertion.

In its press release, Broadpeak points out that its content replacement application was selected by several video service providers for the Football World Cup in Qatar.

In the light of these "encouraging" advances, the group anticipates a ramp-up in sales starting this year, with the combined SaaS and maintenance revenues expected to reach 40% of sales by 2026, i.e. a doubling compared with 2021.

Broadpeak shares were down 2.6% on the Paris Bourse following these announcements. The stock has lost more than 18% of its value since its IPO last June.
