Independent Stave Co., Inc. agreed to acquire Cooperage in Trinity, Alabama from Brown-Forman Corporation (NYSE:BF.B) on February 16, 2024. The cooperage will continue to make barrels for the Jack Daniel Distillery as part of a strategic relationship between the companies. ISCO will rename the cooperage from the Jack Daniel Cooperage to the Alabama Cooperage upon closing, the transaction expected to close by May 1, 2024.
