Companhia de Saneamento de Minas Gerais announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was BRL 1,449.038 million compared to BRL 1,256.976 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 237.129 million compared to BRL 146.345 million a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was BRL 2,827.747 million compared to BRL 2,537.309 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 456.916 million compared to BRL 307.180 million a year ago.

The Company's activities are divided into three business segments: Water services, Sewage services and Sale of products. The Water services division focuses on managing water supply system and distributing water through mains in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The Sewage services division is responsible for the collection, treatment and disposal of waste water. The Sale of products division includes producing, bottling, distributing and selling mineral water.
