Heartland Express, Inc. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2024. For the first quarter, the company reported sales was USD 270.32 million compared to USD 330.92 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 15.11 million compared to net income of USD 12.61 million a year ago.
Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.19 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.16 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.19 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.16 a year ago.
Heartland Express, Inc. is a holding company. The Company, together with its subsidiaries, is a short, medium and long-haul truckload carrier and transportation services provider.
