KS ENERGY'S LAND RIG, KS DISCOVERER l, TO CONTINUE DRILLING IN KURDISTAN

KS Energy Limited ("KS Energy" or the "Company'') would like to announce that a subsidiary of KS Drilling Pte Ltd ("KS Drilling") has signed a contract extension with OP Hawler Kurdistan Limited (formally known as Norbest Limited), a subsidiary of ORYX Petroleum Corporation Limited of Canada.
Work is expected to continue until Q1 2014. The value of the contract extension is expected to be US$5.4 million.
The contract extension is not expected to have any materia!effect on the eamings per share and net tangible assets per share of the Company for the financial year ending 31 December
2013.
None of the Directors or substantial shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect, in the above transaction, saved for their shareholdings in KS Energy.
KS Drilling, an 80%-owned subsidiary of KS Energy, is an investment holding company while the main activities of its subsidiaries are provision of drilling services, rig management and support services, oilfield equipment ownership and leasing.
