LINTEC Corporation Announces Consolidated and Non Consolidated Earnings Results for the Fiscal Year Ended March 2021

LINTEC Corporation announced consolidated and non consolidated earnings results for the fiscal year ended March 2021. For the year, on consolidated basis, the company reported net sales decreased by JPY 4,824 million, or 2.0%, from the same period of the previous year, to JPY 235,902 million, and operating income increased by JPY 1,590 million, or 10.3%, to JPY 17,030 million. Ordinary income increased by JPY 2,286 million, or 15.8%, to JPY 16,770 million, and profit attributable to owners of the parent company increased by JPY 1,786 million, or 18.6%, to JPY 11,407 million.
For the year, on non consolidated basis, the company reported net sales decreased JPY 1,813 million, or 1.1% year on year to JPY 158,024 million, and net sales of consolidated subsidiaries decreased JPY 429 million, or 0.4%, to JPY 120,937 million. Operating income on a non-consolidated basis increased JPY 935 million year on year to JPY 9,894 million, up 10.4%, and operating income of consolidated subsidiaries increased JPY 427 million, or 6.5%, to JPY 6,993 million.
LINTEC Corporation is a Japan-based company mainly involved in the manufacture and sale of printing material and industrial engineering material related products. The Company operates in three business segments. The Printing and Industrial Material-related segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of adhesive products for seals and labels, label printing machinery, barcode printers, film used for outdoor signages and advertisement, window film, automobile adhesive products and industrial adhesive tape, among others. The Electronic and Optic-related segment provides semiconductor-related adhesive products, semiconductor-related machinery, coating film for laminated ceramic capacitors and optical-related products. The Western Paper and Processing Material-related segment manufactures and sells paper of colorful envelopes, special functional paper, released paper, released film, as well as casting paper for carbon fiber composite materials and synthetic leather.
