The Metallurgical Deoxidizer Plant, a resident company of MMK Industrial Park, has put into operation a new production line for ferrosilicon briquettes after completing the construction of the facility.

The company invested RUB 50 million in the facility, creating 25 new high-productivity jobs. The plant's products, based on proprietary know-how, are used to deoxidise metal in the steelmaking process. The plant produces up to 4 thousand tonnes of deoxidizers per year, which are shipped throughout Russia and exported to Asia.

Since 2016, residents of the Industrial Park have invested a total of over RUB 2.5 billion in their own development. At the same time, for every rouble invested in infrastructure by the Industrial Park itself, residents have invested RUB 7.9, which indicates a high degree of trust in the Industrial Park's management company and confidence in the potential for further growth. Forty-seven companies are currently operating at the Industrial Park, and more than a thousand jobs have been created.

Founded in 2013, the Metallurgical Deoxidizer Plant produces ferrosilicon- and calcium carbide-based deoxidizers and processes ferroalloys by chemical and fractional composition. Its production facilities are located at the Industrial Park.

The plant has three production sites: a site that produces calcium carbide-based deoxidizers, with a monthly production volume of up to 1,000 tonnes; a site that makes briquettes and crushes ferroalloys, with a monthly production volume of up to 300 tonnes; and a site that stores, processes and ships ferroalloys - with storage facilities for up to 12,000 tonnes of product.

MMK Industrial Park is a subsidiary of MMK and MMK-METIZ. The site of the Industrial Park is a ready-made property complex covering an area of 66 hectares. With all the necessary utilities infrastructure in place and a developed rail network, the Industrial Park offers all the conditions needed to quickly start up practically any sort of production facility. The Park has been accredited by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, which enables investors to take advantage of tax incentives.
