WILKESBORO, N.C., May 15, 2024 - Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of a 115-unit Days Inn located in Wilkesboro, N.C.
"Through our marketing efforts, we were able to source and secure a buyer with out of state assets," said Milin Mehta, associate. "The buyer plans on converting this asset to a Quality Inn by Choice Hotels."
Mehta, Jack Davis and Joce Messinger, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap's Charleston and Charlotte Uptown offices, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller and procured the buyer.
Located at 1840 US-421, Days Inn Wilkesboro is situated on 2.33 acres and has two floors of guest rooms. Built in 1985 and renovated in 2018, the hotel features amenities including an outdoor swimming pool, picnic area and complimentary breakfast. The property is along the main retail corridor of Wilkesboro next to major retailers including Walmart, Lowe's, Belk and Tractor Supply Co.
