Max's Group, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported revenue was PHP 2,787.2 million compared to PHP 1,702.17 million a year ago. Net income was PHP 145.74 million compared to net loss of PHP 157.25 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.19 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of PHP 0.2 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.19 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of PHP 0.2 a year ago.
For the nine months, revenue was PHP 7,770.52 million compared to PHP 5,323.53 million a year ago. Net income was PHP 426.41 million compared to PHP 233.47 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.55 compared to PHP 0.3 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was PHP 0.55 compared to PHP 0.3 a year ago.
Maxâs Group, Inc. is a Philippines-based company, which is primarily engaged in the business of catering food and establishing, operating, and maintaining restaurants, coffee shops, refreshments parlors and cocktail lounges. The Companyâs segment includes food service, commissary, and support services. The food service segment is involved in the operation and preparation of food products to be sold to franchised stores. The commissary segment is involved in the manufacture and wholesale of food products sold to external and related party customers. The support services segment is involved in providing various services mainly to the Company's independent franchisees and related parties.
