A grateful local Durham resident had a tear in her eye after an incredibly thoughtful act of community engagement when Isoler (working as subcontractor on behalf of ENGIE) donated planters, compost, flowers and solar lights to a local communal garden.

Mrs Drain, a ninety-year-old resident, was delighted with the donations: 'I feel like I'm in a dream and don't want to wake up!'

Isoler were contracted by ENGIE to carry out communal fire protection upgrades including fire stopping, structural repairs, plastering and painting to upgrade the listed building in Durham.

Josh Watson, Contracts Director at Isoler said: 'Mrs Drain is a lovely lady, she had been bringing our lads tea, coffee and biscuits daily throughout the project, so we were delighted to make the donations and upgrades to the garden for the residents. It was a job we thoroughly enjoyed.'
