Par Pacific Holdings, Inc. Announces Executive Changes, Effective January 1, 2019

Par Pacific Holdings, Inc. announced that Melvyn N. Klein has decided to step down from his position as Chairman of the Board effective January 1, 2019, but will otherwise continue to serve as a Director on the Board. Mr. Klein joined the company as a Director and Chairman in June of 2014, and under his leadership, the company expanded from its beginnings in Houston and Hawaii to the Pacific Northwest and the Rockies. Mr. Klein is being succeeded as Chairman by Robert S. Silberman, who currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board. The Company also announced that Katherine Hatcher has been appointed to the Board of Directors effective January 1, 2019. Katherine Hatcher is currently the President and Chief Operating Officer of NewQuest Properties, a privately owned, full-service company based in Houston, Texas engaged in commercial development, retail leasing, tenant representation, land brokerage, and property management, that owns a $2.0 billion portfolio encompassing more than 60 projects in Texas and Louisiana.
Par Pacific Holdings, Inc. is an energy company, which provides both renewable and conventional fuels to the western United States. It owns and operates 125,000 barrels per day of combined refining capacity across three locations and an energy infrastructure network, including 7.6 million barrels of storage, and marine, rail, rack and pipeline assets. The Company has three segments. Refining segment owns and operates four refineries with total operating crude oil throughput capacity of 219 thousand barrels per day (Mbpd). Retail segment operates fuel retail outlets in Hawaii, Washington and Idaho. It operates convenience stores and fuel retail sites under Hele and nomnom brands, 76 branded fuel retail sites and other sites operated by third parties that sell gasoline, diesel, and retail merchandise, such as soft drinks, prepared foods, and other sundries. Logistics segment operates a multi-modal logistics network spanning the Pacific, the Northwest, and the Rocky Mountain regions.
