Pernod Ricard has announced its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets, pledging to reduce absolute emissions from scopes 1 and 2 by 54% by 2030 compared to its 2022 baseline year.

The spirits group also plans to reduce absolute emissions from scope 3 FLAG (forests, land and agriculture) by 30.3% and non-FLAG emissions (purchases of goods and services, upstream transport and distribution) by 25% over the same period.

In the long term, Pernod Ricard is committed to reducing absolute emissions from scopes 1 and 2 and non-FLAG emissions from scope 3 by 90% by 2050. It also aims to reduce absolute Scope 3 FLAG emissions by 72% over the same period.
