(Alliance News) - PharmaNutra Spa reported Monday that it made a profit of EUR2.6 million in the first quarter, down 43% from EUR4.6 million in the year-earlier first quarter.

Revenues amounted to EUR23.7 million up 0.5 percent from EUR23.8 million as of March 31, 2023.

Ebitda drops to EUR5.0 million from EUR6.6 million in the same period a year earlier.

Net financial position as of March 31, 2024 is negative EUR6.0 million compared to EUR2.6 million as of December 31, 2023.

"The group's performance in the first quarter is in line with forecasts and the foreign order book is such as to ensure the achievement of the targets for the second and third quarters," the company specified in a note.

PharmaNutra closed Monday 2.5 percent in the red at EUR50.70 per share.
