Rotork, the manufacturing equipment provider, is in a strong position for the year ahead as analysts at Peel Hunt push its 2023 ebita number of £153m up to £158m. It comes as the group posted its 2022 financial year final results - posting net cash of £106m "despite a c.£50m working capital outflow". The analyst rated it an 'add'.

Analysts at Peel Hunt said that numbers at St James's Place are "slightly ahead of consensus", with good progress towards a five-year strategy. Underlying cash profits rose by two per cent to £410.1m, compared to consensus expectations of £400.3m. Analysts said they expect about five per cent growth in underlying cash result to £420m on net inflows modestly below the 2022 financial year and rated it a 'buy'.
