Shally Engineering Plastics Ltd. reported unaudited standalone earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of INR 457.68 million against INR 368.28 million a year ago. Profit from operations before other income, finance costs and exceptional items was INR 41.54 million against INR 55.38 million a year ago. Profit from ordinary activities before tax was INR 31.45 million against INR 16.07 million a year ago. Net profit was INR 25.91 million against INR 10.9 million a year ago. Basic and diluted earnings per share before and after extraordinary items were INR 3.54 against INR 1.48 a year ago.
For the half year, the company reported net sales of INR 1,306.33 million against INR 1,112.26 million a year ago. Profit from operations before other income, finance costs and exceptional items was INR 139.1 million against INR 126.18 million a year ago. Profit from ordinary activities before tax was INR 103.03 million against profit of INR 69.51 million a year ago. Net profit was INR 83.03 million against profit of INR 46.96 million a year ago. Basic and diluted earnings per share before and after extraordinary items were INR 11.34 against profit of INR 6.42 a year ago.
