(February 11, 2022) Shimao Group Holdings Limited ("Shimao Group" or the "Company", and its subsidiaries, together the "Group", stock code: 813.HK) is pleased to announce certain unaudited operating statistics for January 2022 as follows:

• In January 2022, the Group's contracted sales amounted to approximately RMB7.51 billion and the contracted sold area was 464,500 sq. m.. The average selling price was RMB16,175 per sq. m..

News in brief:

1. The first Conrad hotel in Shanghai was grandly opened
   On January 1, 2022, the first Conrad Hotel in Shanghai, located at the starting point of East Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, was grandly opened. As the first Conrad Hotel in Shanghai, the opening on New Year not only marked a new chapter in the development of international luxury brand hotels of Shimao, but also witnessed another milestone in the second decade of cooperation between Shimao hotels and Hilton. Apart from Conrad Shanghai, Shimao hotels and Hilton have also signed agreement to launch other three luxury hotels in China: Waldorf Astoria Shenzhen, Conrad Zhuhai and Conrad Wuhan, which will be unveiled one by one in the near future. This will further expand the luxury brands portfolio of Shimao Hotels and endorse the comprehensive assets management ability of Shimao.
2. Shimao Group was awarded "2021 Green Innovative Enterprise" of Jinling Award
   In the afternoon of January 11, the "2021 China Real Estate Investment and Financing Summit", which was organized by China Times with academic support of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Joint Laboratory for Housing Big Data and China real estate expert advisory group, was held in Shanghai. During the Summit, upholding the development concept of "the responsibility is integrated in the blood", Shimao Group was awarded the honor of "2021 Green Innovative Enterprise" of Jinling Award with well-established ESG indicators, quality green products and continuous practice of corporate social responsibility. Looking ahead, Shimao will continue to invest in green construction aspect, strictly pursue the national and local green construction standards, achieve steady growth of both area and number of green buildings to enhance the environmental benefits.
3. Beijing Shimao Honor of China received the "2021 INNODESIGN "
   With excellent product competitiveness, Beijing Shimao Honor of China received several awards since its launch. Recently, the "INNODESIGN PRIZE International Innovative Design competition", hosted by French
   Metz City Hall with academic support of French Innovation Deign Professional Committee and INNODESIGN INSTITUTE, announced results. A few thousands set of design works from Asia-Pacific were received this year. With avant-garde artistic aesthetics and space, the showroom of Beijing Shimao Honor of China was well-recognized by the international professional judge and won the "2021 INNODESIGN PRIZE Innovative Design Excellence award", which proved the product quality and craftsmanship of Shimao.
