Talen Energy Corporation announced restructuring of its senior leadership. Andrew "Andy" Wright moved up from his role as general counsel and corporate secretary to take on the newly created role of chief administrative officer, overseeing human resources, information technology and corporate security functions. John Wander was named general counsel and corporate secretary.

Both changes were effective immediately. Before joining Talen, Wander was a partner in Vinson & Elkins' Shareholder Litigation & Enforcement practice and served as the Houston-based law firm's general counsel. Also effective immediately, three other leaders have moved into executive roles at their respective departments: Dale Lesback, formerly senior vice president of fossil operations, is now chief fossil officer.

Christopher Morice, formerly vice president of Talen's commercial portfolio in the PJM, MENE and ERCOT regions, is now chief commercial officer. Cole Muller, formerly senior vice president of cumulus growth, is now general manager of cumulus growth. The new executive team will all report to McFarland, Talen Energy said.
