John Longley

Mr. John T.
Longley is a Chief Executive Officer at SageView Advisory Group LLC.
He leads the firm's executive team and setting the strategic vision for more than 30 offices across the country.
Mr. Longley's career spans over 35 years and several senior executive roles in the financial services industry.
He sets the firm's corporate strategy, which places clients at the core of SageView’s operations, service, and deliverables.
Mr. Longley spent the bulk of his early career at Citigroup.
He led transformative initiatives across the banking and wealth management business units and served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Citi Private Bank, NA. He later served as Managing Director, Head of Private Wealth at BlackRock/iShares.
Mr. Longley was also the Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder of the fintech company Dobot before joining Boston Private as President, Western Region.
Most recently, he was the President of SVB Private, the private banking and wealth division of Silicon Valley Bank.
He received his undergraduate degree from Swarthmore College.
