Ted was born in Ontario and raised in Montreal.
He moved to Vancouver in 1970 where he graduated from the University of British Columbia.
In 1988 Ted moved to Vancouver Island and set up residence on the Saanich Peninsula.
Ted is currently employed as a Senior Labour Relations Consultant with the Health Employers Association of British Columbia (HEABC).
HEABC represents the management side of the health care industry and provides advice to health care facilities in British Columbia.
Ted provides labour relations advice to Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) facilities on the entire island.
Ted, who lost is wife to cancer in 2002, has two grown children, a son Reagan and daughter Taylor.
Ted enjoyed three terms on the Town of Sidney Council from 1990 to 1999 and was elected as a Councillor in North Saanich in 1999 and as Mayor in 2002.
This is Ted’s second term as Mayor.
