The transaction included participation from a strong syndicate of new and existing investors American Cancer Society, Inc., Endowment Arm, Pfizer Inc., RA Capital Management, L.P., Forbion Capital Partners B.V., Avego BioScience Capital, new investors Fidelity Management & Research Company LLC, Sofinnova Partners SAS, and HBM Healthcare Investments AG, a fund managed by HBM Partners Ltd. The company issued convertible preferred shares in the transaction.
