Honda to shut two plants in China jointly owned with GAC, Dongfeng, Toyo Keizai says

TOKYO, April 17 (Reuters) - Honda Motor will shut two internal combustion engine car plants in China and significantly cut production capacity in the country to an annual 720,000 vehicles, the Japanese magazine Toyo Keizai reported on Friday.

The Japanese car maker will shut a plant jointly owned with Guangzhou Automobile Group in June and another one jointly owned with Dongfeng Motor Group next year, Toyo Keizai said.
