The Stockholm Stock Exchange is expected to start Wednesday's trading session with an uptick. On the domestic front, the flood of earnings reports continues, with interim results from Cloetta and SBB, among others.

However, the primary focus lies on the U.S. pausing its military operation, Project Freedom, which aims to escort commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz. The decision is based in part on progress toward a 'full and final agreement' with Iran.

Inflation in Sweden retreated more than expected in April, according to preliminary figures from Statistics Sweden (SCB). CPIF landed at 0.8 percent, against an expected 1.2 percent.

Euro Stoxx 50 futures are up 0.98 percent, FTSE 100 futures are gaining 1.13 percent, and DAX futures are increasing by 0.87 percent.

U.S. S&P 500 futures are up 0.27 percent.

From the earnings stream, confectioner Cloetta increased its adjusted operating profit to SEK 273 million. Net sales also rose.

Medical technology company Asker Healthcare Group increased its adjusted EBITA to SEK 442 million.

Real estate company SBB increased its profit from property management to SEK 131 million.

Energy company Orrön Energy reports higher revenues and positive EBITDA for the first quarter of 2026, driven by higher realized electricity prices and income from project sales.

Wind power company Eolus increased its operating profit to SEK 241 million. The group's management operations increased to 1,271 megawatts.

Outdoor products company Thule has signed an agreement to acquire Swiss-based Curli, which develops premium dog harnesses. The acquisition strengthens Thule's focus on dog transportation, one of the company's fastest-growing product categories. The initial purchase price amounts to CHF 10.1 million, approximately SEK 118 million, with a potential earn-out of a maximum of CHF 6.8 million.

Online broker Avanza Bank had a net inflow of SEK 7,050 million during April, representing a 39 percent increase from the previous month (5,090). Compared to the same period in 2025, the net inflow increased by 1 percent. Competitor Nordnet saw net savings among its customers of SEK 7.2 billion in April. This represents a 7.8 percent decrease compared to the previous month, when the figure was 7.8 billion, and is 2.4 percent higher compared to the same period in 2025.

Debt management company Hoist reports revenues that were higher than expected during the first quarter. Profit before tax also came in better than expected at SEK 394 million.

Ventilation company Lindab's operating profit came in lower than expected at SEK 188 million. Revenue was in line with expectations.

Among today's analyst notes, DNB Carnegie upgrades IPC to Buy from Hold.
