(Alliance News) - The board of Aquafil Spa on Tuesday approved its consolidated economic and financial results as of March 31, reporting a loss of EUR3.1 million, which compares with a profit of EUR3.3 million in the first quarter of 2023.

Revenues amounted to EUR147.5 million, down 12 percent from EUR166.8 million in the same period of 2023.

Ebitda amounted to EUR15.2 million, down 20% from EUR21.6 million in the first quarter of 2023.

As of March 31, 2024, Ebit was EUR800,000, down 89% from the same period last year.

As of March 31, the group's Net Financial Position was EUR250.3 million, up from EUR248.5 million as of Dec. 31, 2023.

The company says in a note that the targets set for the two-year period 2024-2025 remain confirmed.

Aquafil gives up 1.0 percent to EUR3.65 per share.
