Banco Hipotecario S.A. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported net interest income was ARS 91.8 million compared to net interest loss of ARS 345.84 million a year ago. Net loss was ARS 1,120.12 million compared to net income of ARS 249.85 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was ARS 0.761 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of ARS 0.17 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was ARS 0.761 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of ARS 0.17 a year ago.
For the nine months, net interest loss was ARS 2,311.88 million compared to net interest income of ARS 724.69 million a year ago. Net loss was ARS 4,305.02 million compared to net income of ARS 366.65 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was ARS 2.926 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of ARS 0.249 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was ARS 2.926 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of ARS 0.249 a year ago.
