Chian Hsing Forging Industrial Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 449.47 million compared to TWD 507.42 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 14.45 million compared to TWD 12.66 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.17 compared to TWD 0.15 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.17 compared to TWD 0.15 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 926.06 million compared to TWD 1,136.7 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 27.7 million compared to TWD 33.66 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.33 compared to TWD 0.4 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.33 compared to TWD 0.4 a year ago.
Chian Hsing Forging Industrial Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the forging manufacture and processing of automobile parts, bicycle parts, motorcycle parts and mechanical hardware parts. The automobile parts include transmission parts, suspension forgings, chassis parts, gears, clutches and others. The bicycle parts include steering bearings, crank bearings, transmissions, pedals and others. The motorcycle parts include steering bearings, transmission rod bases, transmission main and counter shafts, gears, aluminum bottles and others. The mechanical hardware parts include sports equipment parts, crankshafts, high-pressure joints, screw caps, alloy bearing forgings, pipeline forgings and others. The Company is also engaged in the provision of rail car forgings. The Company operates within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including the Americas and mainland China.
