Daiichikosho Co., Ltd. revised consolidated earnings guidance for the six months ending September 30, 2022 and year ending March 31, 2023. For the six months, the company expects net sales to be JPY 59,000 million, operating income to be JPY 4,400 million, net income attributable to owners of parent to be JPY 5,200 million and basic earnings per share to be JPY 95.25.
For the year, the company expects net sales to be JPY 126,500 million, operating income to be JPY 12,000 million, net income attributable to owners of parent to be JPY 10,000 million and basic earnings per share to be JPY 183.17.
DAIICHIKOSHO CO., LTD. is mainly involved in the entertainment business. The Company operates in three business segments. The Commercial Karaoke segment is engaged in the sale and leasing of karaoke machines for commercial use, the provision of audio and video contents for communication karaoke. The Karaoke and Restaurant segment is engaged in the operation of karaoke rooms and restaurants. The Music Software segment is involved in the production and sale of music and visual software. The others business is engaged in the background music broadcasting business, the provision of content services via cellular phone, and the real estate leasing business, among others.
