Daiwa Computer Co., Ltd. (JASDAQ:3816)?announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 40,000 shares, representing 1.03% of its issued share capital for ?60 million. The purpose of the program is to carry out agile capital policies in response to changes in the business environment. The program is valid till March 31, 2022. As of November 30, 2021, the company had 3,896,645 shares issued (excluding treasury stock) and 53,117 shares in treasury.
DAIWA COMPUTER CO., LTD. is mainly engaged in the software development business. The Company has three business segments. The Software Development-related segment is engaged in the design, development, installation and maintenance of customized software and systems, as well as the provision of consulting services for process improvement and capability maturity model integration (CMMI) introduction. The Service Integration segment is engaged in the provision of software as a service (SaaS) software services. The Others segment is engaged in the sale of systems including software and hardware. As of July 31, 2012, the Company had two consolidated subsidiaries.
