Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 100,000 shares, representing 1.79% of its share capital, for ¥100 million. The company will repurchase its shares in order to implement a flexible capital policy in response to changes in the business environment, along with aiming to improve capital efficiency. The share repurchase program will run until October 31, 2019. As of August 31, 2019, the company had 5,599,641 shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) and 107,959 shares in treasury.
