The MBWS Group (Marie Brizard Wine & Spirits) has announced sales of €194 million for the 2023 financial year, representing organic growth of 7.2% compared with 2022.

Sales were driven by both international markets (+11%, to €111 million) and France (+2.5%, to €83 million).

Against a backdrop of continuing rises in input costs, 2023 confirmed the overall resilience of the Group's main brands in the face of the challenges of availability and price upgrades on the one hand, and increased competition on the other", says the Group.

MBWS says it must maintain a cautious sales outlook in view of the still fluctuating and turbulent international environment, coupled with uncertain economic forecasts.

At the same time, it is confident in its key strengths, namely 'offering consumers quality products at mainstream prices during this period of high inflation and falling purchasing power'.
