PT Golden Eagle Energy Tbk is engaged in the mining business. The Company is engaged in coal mining and related activities, including general surveying, exploration, exploitation, processing, refining, and trading through its subsidiaries. The Company, through its subsidiary PT Triaryani (TRA), which operates mining concessions in South Sumatra, is engaged in commercial coal mining. The Company’s main product is coal, produced and sold through subsidiaries and associates, namely TRA and PT Internasional Prima Coal (IPC). Its coal reserve mainly consists of subbituminous coal characterized by relatively low sulfur and ash content. TRA operates a coal mine in South Sumatra with a concession of about 2,143 hectares, that has coal resources of 330 million tons and coal reserves of 317 million tons. IPC manages coal mining concessions in East Kalimantan with a total area of 3,238 hectares. The concession has coal resources of 25.61 million tons and coal reserves of 13.55 million tons.
