Message4u Pty Ltd entered into an agreement to acquire MessageNet Pty Ltd. from Salmat Limited (ASX:SLM) for AUD 14.8 million on December 13, 2017. MessageNet Pty Ltd. team will be joining Message4u Pty Ltd. The transaction is subject to certain conditions precedent and is expected to be completed by December 29, 2017. Proceeds from the transaction will be used to pay down existing debt facility of Salmat Limited. Catherine Debreceny and Paul Ellis of Maddocks Inc. Pty Ltd. acted as legal advisors to Message4u Pty Ltd and Clayton Utz acted as legal advisor to Salmat Limited. Message4u Pty Ltd completed the acquisition of MessageNet Pty Ltd. from Salmat Limited (ASX:SLM) on December 29, 2017.
