Jiangsu Lugang Culture Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was CNY 523.819 million compared to CNY 759.769 million a year ago. Operating loss was CNY 61.230 million compared to operating Income of CNY 12.781 million a year ago. Net loss was CNY 63.428 million compared to net income of CNY 8.949 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.07 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of CNY 0.01 a year ago.

The Company primarily provides worsted yarns, semi-worsted yarns and worsted woolen fabrics. Its products are applied in the manufacture of shirts, suits and others. The Company is also engaged in the production and distribution of traditional television (TV) series, the investment and distribution of movies, as well as the development, production and distribution of new media products such as network dramas. Through its subsidiaries, the Company also engages in hotel business. The Company conducts its businesses in domestic and overseas markets.
