LEATEC Fine Ceramics Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2019. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 137.561 million compared to TWD 256.601 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 63.777 million compared to TWD 327,000 a year ago. Net loss was TWD 64.359 million compared to TWD 15.329 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.6 compared to TWD 0.15 a year ago.
Leatec Fine Ceramics Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the design, manufacture, processing and trading of alumina ceramic substrates. The primary products include ceramic substrates for chip exclusion, ceramic substrates for chip resistors, ceramic substrates for hybrid integrated circuits, laser resistors, polished substrates, solar junction boxes, solar connectors, among others. The Company operates through two business segments. The Precision Ceramics segment is principally engaged in the production and sale of ceramic substrates. The Optoelectronic segment is principally engaged in the production and sale of solar connectors. The Company mainly distributes its products in Asia, America, Europe, among others.
