LEATEC Fine Ceramics Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 213.895 million compared to TWD 176.792 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 49.695 million compared to TWD 53.003 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.46 compared to TWD 0.49 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 629.102 million compared to TWD 494.817 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 81.587 million compared to TWD 168.539 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.75 compared to TWD 1.56 a year ago.
Leatec Fine Ceramics Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the design, manufacture, processing and trading of alumina ceramic substrates. The primary products include ceramic substrates for chip exclusion, ceramic substrates for chip resistors, ceramic substrates for hybrid integrated circuits, laser resistors, polished substrates, solar junction boxes, solar connectors, among others. The Company operates through two business segments. The Precision Ceramics segment is principally engaged in the production and sale of ceramic substrates. The Optoelectronic segment is principally engaged in the production and sale of solar connectors. The Company mainly distributes its products in Asia, America, Europe, among others.
