ENKA with its consortium partner Siemens, within the scope of the construction of the 250 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant for PJSC Kazanorgsintez in Kazan, the capital of the Tatarstan region of Russia, has settled in the pioneer office as of June 2020.

Currently, 90% of the civil works within the scope of the temporary camp and mobilization works have been completed, while the assembly of the kitchen and worker's dormitory building continues along with the mechanical and electrical infrastructure works. The procurement of project materials is proceeding in accordance with the work schedule.

In addition to the gas turbine and steam turbine to be delivered by Siemens, the orders for the long lead equipment like, 1 HRSG, 3 Gas Compressors, 1 'Natural Draft' Cooling Tower and Gas Treatment unit within the scope of ENKA, have been placed. In addition to the design studies carried out by the Tatbel Institute from Belarus, 8 test piles were driven at the construction site and their tests are ongoing as of the beginning of August.
