MILAN, May 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Bulgari S.p.A., one of the leading global players in the luxury market, and Luxottica Group S.p.A. (MTA: LUX; NYSE: LUX), a leader in premium fashion, luxury and sports eyewear, announced today a ten-year extension of the license agreement for the design, production and worldwide distribution of prescription frames and sunglasses under the Bulgari brand.

The new agreement will run from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2020.

Bulgari is one of the leading global players in the luxury market. In 2009 the Group posted a turnover of 926.6 million Euro. Bulgari relies on a store network in the most exclusive shopping areas in the world and on selected distributors. As of 31.03.2010 the number of the Bulgari stores in the world was 275 of which 166 were directly owned stores.
