Tamerlane Ventures Inc. is an exploration and development mining company with base metal development projects in Canada and Peru. The Company's projects include Los Pinos copper deposit and Pine Point Project. The Los Pinos copper deposit is located in the Coastal Cordillera of southern Peru. Its concessions include Los Pinos No. 1 (area of approximately 600 hectares), Los Pinos No. 6 (area of over 90 hectares) and El Pino (area of approximately 100 hectares). The Pine Point Project is located on the south side of the Great Slave Lake, approximately 129 kilometers south of Yellowknife and over 40 kilometers east of Hay River. Its Pine Point Mine extracts over 64 million tons of ore. The Company controls a total of approximately 175 square kilometers, including both the Pine Point Mine property, as well as a contiguous property to the west originally explored by Westmin Resources (Westmin).
