Ellen T. Ruff is on the board of Essential Utilities, Inc., North Carolina Citizens for Business & Industry and South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance and Member of American Bar Association, Member of The North Carolina State Bar, Member of Mecklenburg County Bar and Member of Palmetto Business Forum.

In her past career she was President-Nuclear Development at Duke Energy Corp. President of Duke Energy Carolinas LLC and Senior Vice President-Asset Management at Duke Power Co. (both are subsidiaries of Duke Energy Corp.) and Partner at McGuireWoods LLP.

Ms. Ruff received an undergraduate degree from Simmons University and a graduate degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
