Imerys : expands in refractories solutions in India

Imerys has reached a final agreement for the acquisition of the leading Indian producer of calcium silicate boards used for thermal insulation projects for industries such as cement, metallurgical, oil refinery, petro-chemical and power plants.
This business has generated a revenue of EUR5 million in 2019 and employs 50 people.
With this deal, Imerys, World #1 in high-performance calcium aluminate-based binders, alumino-silicate minerals, and alumina based monolithics for refractories, is extending its solutions offering in the attractive fast growing Indian market.
This business will be consolidated in the High Temperature Solutions business area (Calderys).
