Launched in 2007, the Synchrony LPP 25 fund manages assets totalling CHF 81 million at the end of January 2020. It is available in 2 classes: class A shares (accessible to all investors) and class B shares (reserved for investors in BCGE's 3a Pension Fund and Vested Benefits Foundations).

This fund is part of the Synchrony LPP umbrella fund which is subject to the management constraints imposed by the LPP (Federal Law on Occupational Pension Schemes). It offers a “defensive” strategy. Other more dynamic strategies (Synchrony LPP 40 / Synchrony LPP 80) are also available in this range, as well as a fund that takes “sustainable finance” criteria into account (Synchrony LPP 40 SRI).

Commenting on this distinction, Blaise Goetschin, CEO of BCGE, said: “The Bank is pleased to see its disciplined and active management rewarded by a prestigious institution”.

For more than three decades, these awards have recognised funds and fund management firms for their consistently strong risk-adjusted three-, five-, and ten-year performance relative to their peers. Based on Lipper's proprietary quantitative methodology, the awards reflect a truly independent and uncompromising assessment of fund performance.
