Canada's First Quantum shelves stake sale for Zambia copper mines

TORONTO (Reuters) - Canada's First Quantum has shelved plans to sell a stake in its Zambian copper mines, a company executive said on Wednesday.

Toronto-listed First Quantum had mulled a sale of minority interests in its Kansanshi and Sentinel mines, with China's Jiangxi Copper Co Ltd speculated as a potential suitor.
