JAMES "SKIP" HERALD NAMED PRESIDENT AND CEO OF EVRAZ NORTH AMERICA
LONDON (July 18, 2019) - EVRAZ (LSE: EVR; "EVRAZ" or the "Group") today announced the appointment of James "Skip" Herald as president and chief executive officer of EVRAZ North America, effective Aug. 5, 2019.
Herald joins EVRAZ from AXIP Energy, where he served as a CEO. He has 35 years of experience in the oil & gas and energy pipe industries, having served in senior executive positions in several market-leading companies, including Vallourec, a France- based tube manufacturer, and Halliburton, a global energy services provider.
Conrad Winkler, EVRAZ North America's CEO since July 2013, is leaving to pursue opportunities outside the Group. He led the modernization of the pipe and steel operations of the Division and the expansion of the product range. Winkler was instrumental in initiating and launching our US$480 million EVRAZ Pueblo rail mill modernization project to produce 100-meter rails.
